Lingo Flow — Android application · Last updated: May 6, 2026

In short. Lingo Flow reads text shown on your screen via Android's accessibility service, only to translate it in real time inside a floating bubble. Automatic translations run 100 % on your device and no content is sent over the internet. When you explicitly use the enriched translation, the chat tutor, voice dictation or audio playback, the text you select is sent to Google Gemini to produce a more accurate response. No content read from other apps is ever stored. No tracker, no advertising, no sharing with advertisers.

1. Who controls your data?

This application is published by Mourad Miled, a private individual residing in France. For any question regarding this policy or your data: mourad.miled1@gmail.com.

2. Data stored locally on your device

All the data below is stored exclusively on your device, in the application's private space. It only leaves your phone in the cases explicitly described in section 3.

Google backup: this data is included by default in your device's Google Auto Backup. You can disable this backup in Android system settings (Settings → System → Backup).

3. Data sent to Google Gemini

Lingo Flow uses the Google Gemini API (generativelanguage.googleapis.com) for its AI features. The following data is sent to Google Gemini, only in the cases listed:

Google processes this data in accordance with its own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy. Data is transmitted encrypted via HTTPS.

4. Data NEVER collected nor sent

Lingo Flow does not collect or transmit:

5. Android permissions used

6. Profiling by artificial intelligence

To personalize exchanges with the tutor, the application uses the Google Gemini API to generate an inferred user profile from the history of your conversations in the app (cf. section 2). This profile contains elements such as your interests mentioned in chat, daily life evoked, or language level.

This processing constitutes automated profiling within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR. Its purpose is exclusively pedagogical personalization. Its legal basis is the performance of the contract (= the provision of the chat tutor feature you chose to use). You can delete this profile at any time by erasing your conversations (Settings → Privacy → Erase my conversations); the tutor will then start fresh with no prior knowledge of you.

7. Your rights (GDPR)

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:

8. Cookies and trackers

Lingo Flow is a native Android application and does not use any cookies, advertising trackers, or tracking pixels.

9. Minors

Lingo Flow is not specifically intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from them. If you are a parent or guardian and you find that your child uses the application, you may contact us at mourad.miled1@gmail.com to request the deletion of their data.

10. Retention and durations

11. Security

Locally stored data benefits from Android's application sandboxing: only Lingo Flow can access it on your device. Data transmitted to Google Gemini travels exclusively over HTTPS (TLS 1.2+), guaranteeing encryption in transit.

12. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect application changes or legal requirements. Any substantial change will be flagged in the application via an update of the home screen or settings. The date of last update appears at the top of this document.
